Good barrier against chloride ion ingress
POLYBIT® POLYTEX S can be applied : Concrete flat and sloping roofs , Corrugated sheets , External Facades of concrete structures , Waterproofing of car park decks, Underpasses, Protective coating on exposed reinforced concrete from carbonation & chloride attack.

All the substrates must be dry and free of dust, dirt, moss,
oil, grease and loose particles. Metal surfaces should be
rust free. This can be achieved by wire brushing or grit
blasting. Unsound surfaces are to be removed and repaired
with a suitable repair mortar
A primer coat is required to seal the pores and stabilize the
surface. Polytex Super diluted with 20% clean water. Polytex Super can be applied by
soft bristled brush or roller. Apply the first coat of undiluted
material at a coverage rate of 1L/m²/coat to get a Dry
Film Thickness of 0.5 mm. It is important to ensure that
each coat has to be cured totally.
The second coat should
be applied at right angle to the first at the same coverage
rate, to ensure a full unbroken coating to the substrate. For
improved results a non woven geo-textile membrane can
be reinforced in to the first coat while it is wet at expansion
joint areas and on the fillets in all corners.
There is no special primer. Primer can be prepared at site by diluting this with 20% clean sweet water by volume.
