Henkel Construction Adhesives have more than 115 years of history. Based on tradition and many years of experience, we use advanced technologies for the production of our construction adhesives. 

1898

The first bitumen waterproofing patented

1906

CERESIT invented - additive for the manufacture of cementitious waterproofing

1910

World Exhibition in Brussels - a worldwide demonstration of the achievements of the brand - a sensation of the brand CERESIT

1946

Start of flooring adhesives (linoleum adhesive)

1986

Acquisition of CERESIT into Henkel Group

1990

Opening the first production plant into CEE (Poland)

1996

Opening the first production plant in Asia (China)

1997

Start of deliveries of CERESIT and THOMSIT products to Russia

2003

Opening of the first CERESIT mixture production plant in Russia in Kolomna, Moscow

2003

Entry into Latin America: Acquisition Fester in Mexico

2005

Entry into Middle East: Acquisition of Polybit in UAE

2006

Start of production of THOMSIT floor adhesives in Russia (Tosno, Leningrad Region)

2007

Further Expansion in Middle East, with new production plant in Saudi Arabia (KSA)

2007

Further Expansion with 5 new plant sin Central East Europe

Opening of the second plant in Russia (Chelyabinsk, Ural)

2010

Opening of the third plant in Russia (Ulyanovsk, Volga)

Opening of the fourth plant in Russia (Nevinnomyssk in the Stavropol Territory)

Opening of the fifth plant in Russia, in Novosibirsk

2016

Entry into Colombia: acquisition of Alfa Tile Adhesives business

Entry into Chile: acquisition of Aislantes Nacionales

Opening the sixth plant in Russia (in Tosno)
